In less than two days 19 travelers will be coming from different corners of the world to converge in Chennai, India. A couple from China and Australia by way of Malaysia. A couple from California and New Mexico. Fifteen of the travelers will be leaving from Kansas City on Thursday. We will all meet up in Chennai on Saturday to begin our life changing journey.
A few short days ago we were still needing five India Visa’s. Today, thanks to the kindness of a stranger in Houston, everyone has their travel documents and is okay’d to make the journey. Amazing! I know Corissa is grateful!
If the packing party is any indication of what this team will be like…we 
were efficient, friendly and energetic. I pray that continues. We packed up medical supplies, including antibacterial liquid, sutures, sponges, braces, slings and much more. We have curriculum ready for a half-day VBS program to teach kids in India geography and the gospel message. Kathy put a lot of thought and effort in to these activities. Thank God for teachers! I never could have come up with the coloring pages and crafts she has created. We will also have a day of sports with the kids. The American Cricket team is ready to challenge the Kids from Tuni. We are being led by an Aussie bowler who will likely be embarrassed by our performance, but I expect it will be a good source of laughs. We will dedicate water wells in the Trichy area and participate in other village activities.
